About the Artist
Hannah Lewis is an interdisciplinary visual artist born and raised in southwest Florida. She received her Bachelor's of Fine Arts from the University of Florida in 2016.
Her work explores the interaction between objects, the market, and consumers. Areas of identification such as gender, race, religion, class, etc. play a large role, individually and intersectionally, in her work as she explores what characteristics define us and how we define ourselves.
Lewis' work implements the readymade and various ecological networks between objects in order to explore the relationships that marginalized consumers and objects of consumption have with their environments, both economically and socially.
